CESEF–CES Student Evaluation Case Competition
The CESEF–CES Student Evaluation Case Competition is an annual, hands-on learning opportunity for post-secondary students to develop, apply, and showcase their evaluation skills. In the first round, held each February, students work in teams to respond to a real-world evaluation case and request for proposals under time constraints. Teams receive feedback from experienced evaluators from across Canada, and the top three teams advance to the final round at the Canadian Evaluation Society Annual Conference, where they present their work to a panel of judges. The competition helps students build practical evaluation experience, strengthen teamwork and communication skills, and connect with the Canadian evaluation community.
Get Involved
There are many ways to get involved. Students can compete, evaluators can coach teams, volunteer as judges or organizers, and organizations can contribute cases or support the competition as partners. Visit the Student Evaluation Case Competition website to learn more about current opportunities to participate.
